Anne of Green Gables
What the water sprites saw (Anne Shirley/Gilbert Blythe | Teen and Up | 1708 )
Summary: It is said that if two lovers lie together by a brook such as this, their child will be beloved of the naiads and never die of drowning.
Why you should read it: One of the disappointments to me in the book series is that Anne and Gilbert's marriage seems to lack the kind of warmth and passion I always thought it should have. This fic restores those things, and does so without ever sounding out of character.

If You Keep Me Next to You (Kate Kane/Renee Montoya | Teen and Up | 3392 words )
Summary: Women in uniforms were her kryptonite.
Why you should read it: The author does a really great job characterizing Kate and Renee. I feel like far too many Kate/Renee fics put all the sympathy on Renee and make Kate out to be a Big Bad Meanie, but this does well and fair by both of them.
The Story So Far (10 Years Later) (Steph/Dick, Babs/Wendy | General Audiences | 2198 words)

The Thrill Can Kill (Steph/Dick | Mature | 2663 words)

Vigilante, Save Thyself (Arrow | John Diggle, Oliver Queen | Gen | G | 832 words)
Summary: Nobody expects you to come back from something like that and be Little Miss Mary Sunshine, but I don't think you came back at all.
Why you should read: When I'm reading gen, I am pretty demanding in my need for it to sound like the source material, and this really does! Ollie and Dig's interaction is spot on here, and Diggle in particular is greatly portrayed.
Wibbly Wobbly Universe (Batgirl & the Doctor #1) (Batgirl/Doctor Who Crossover | Steph, Eleven, Dick, Bruce | Gen | 2342 words)
Summary:“You not existing is a major screw-up on the part of the universe, Stephanie Brown,” the Doctor says.
Why you should read: I am ... really hesitant in reading DCU fic these days, BUT OH MY GOD. This takes place in the DCnU, and explains Steph's absence very well. It tugged on my heart in all the right ways.
The Case of the Amazon Wishlist (Elementary | Joan & Sherlock | Gen | 554 words)

An April Girl (Kate/Cassie | General Audiences | 5813 words)

One long affair with the wide-blue sky; we just invite in other partners occasionally." In which Steve is not stupid and Carol gets great sex because of it.
